What’s behind the Startup Anatomy Team Process?
The Startup Anatomy Team Process is based on the Founder Check – an effective online assessment tool, where human profiles individually as well as in teams are shifted to the center of attention.
The Founder Check is a very holistic questionnaire that consists of 4 well-known psychological aspects: Occupational Interests, Personal Structure, Thinking Style, and Motivational Structure. After completion of all the 180 questions in the questionnaire, an individual profile for each participant is created. Each and every profile is unique in its own way, and our aim is to find out how they can fit perfectly together and what are the key factors you should focus on.

Insights from one of our successful projects: Celus
Celus is an incredible Munich based startup, providing an Electronics Engineering Platform that allows companies with the help of AI to automatically engineer electronics. Moreover, the platform automatically searches through thousands of datasheet pages in order to select modules and parts, and generates schematics and PCB-layouts automatically, eliminating error occurrence.
New challenges may require different approaches than what was provided by the founders in the early stage of the business. Celus, always one step ahead, was aware of this and wanted to prepare to avoid any deficiencies. Therefore, we started with the Startup Anatomy Team Process to help them professionalize structures and processes. Deeply understanding the profile of suitable candidates is crucial, ultimately this is what enabled them to hire the right candidates with matching competencies.
As a very first step, we outlined the expectations and goals of Celus during the kick-off meeting with the founders. This was followed by the Online Assessment: a unique link was sent to the founders via email, to create the process comfortable and home-office friendly. This provided a platform where the participants had the possibility to fill out the psychological online questionnaire in order to understand their own motivation, learning and thinking style, and career preferences.
After the completion of the Online Assessment, we created individual reports and discussed it with each founder separately. Individual feedback talks helped them to comprehend particular metrics and to fully interpret the results of the Foundercheck. Owing to that, they could individually leverage their strengths and work on traits that need to be developed to keep up with the growth.
During the Team Process, we had a deep dive into the status quo and we discussed the challenges and opportunities that could come about in the future. The well-known SWOT analysis guided Celus to understand the current situation and complement the Founder Check Assessment results.
Thanks to the Startup Anatomy Team Process we defined the desired skills and traits that Celus need to look for in candidates in the future to enable them to complement their team!
